Vandhana and Shiv or better known as #Shivoo had come to me in early 2019 asking if I was available to party at their wedding later in the year. I told them that I’d received another enquiry to shoot a wedding Tassie on the same date as theirs and they asked if they could lock me in first.
Boom! It was a great decision in hindsight – for all of us! My team and I had a gala time at their week long wedding celebrations and we were made to feel like family throughout by both families. I’d documented Shyla (Shiv’s sister) and Dev’s wedding 4 years ago and it was super nice to hang out with their families all over again. Having done one wedding in the family, it puts me at a lot of ease in working my way around the dynamics of the people and I really feel it helps me go up a notch in the work I produce.
