Nav and Devek were earlier than most couples in booking me for their wedding – a good 16 months from their wedding! This showed that they were a couple with planned every detail of their dream wedding to the T and had my team and I engaged throughout to ensure that we were able to deliver to their satisfaction.

Nav’s mehendi was the first event to kick off the wedding celebrations and I loved the way her house was styled in pink to match her outfit. I am pretty spontaneous when it comes to visualising and executing my creative video clips but I always need a willing bride and groom to let my vision see the light of the camera and Nav was only all too willing to part take in the ideas that I had. I’d mentioned to her that it’d be awesome if she washed of her haldi by jumping with her cousins into the swimming pool and she mentioned that her dad would never allow it. I recalled a conversation that I’d had with her dad earlier where he’d stated that he would do “anything” for his daugther. Voila! This was my opportunity to take him up on tha.

Even though they didn’t have a formal wedding reception to follow their ceremony, they had plenty of entertainment in the form of dancing from their close family and friends to make it an evening to remember.
