Indian Wedding Photography at Novella on the Park
Tash and I go way back, almost 7 years to be exact. We first crossed paths at her cousin’s wedding in 2017, and from there, our paths kept intertwining at various weddings. It was like destiny wanted us to meet again and again.
Then, in 2021, I received a call from Tash. She had found the love of her life and was ready to take the next step. The excitement in her voice was contagious as she shared the news of her upcoming wedding. The time had finally come for her to say “I do”!
And what a celebration it was! Tash and her partner decided to have a week-long Fiji Indian Wedding extravaganza. It was like one big party that seemed to never end. From the colorful ceremonies to the energetic dance performances, every moment was filled with joy and laughter.
As the photographer, I felt privileged to be a part of these festivities. It didn’t feel like I was just capturing moments for a client; it felt like I was documenting memories for my own family. The Mudaliars, as I fondly call them, welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like I belonged.
When I think of Tash and her wedding, a few words come to mind: adventurous, raw, and intimate. Tash and her partner weren’t afraid to take risks and try new things. They embraced the idea of capturing their love in unconventional ways, whether it was having their pre-wedding shoot at a cafe or prancing around beaches past dark.
And let’s not forget the party-loving side of Tash and Avnil. They knew how to have a good time and made sure their wedding was a celebration to remember. Fireball whiskey shots and glasses of wine flowed freely, adding to the festive atmosphere.
But amidst all the excitement and fun, there was also a deep sense of love and connection. Tash and Avnil had built a strong bond, and you could see it in their eyes every time they looked at each other. It was a privilege to witness and capture these intimate moments.
As a photographer, my goal is always to build relationships with my couples. I want them to feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. With Tash and Avnil, this came naturally. They were open, genuine, and hilarious. We shared many laughs throughout the wedding, creating a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
