hunter valley wedding photographer
I live at Coogee which usually ends up being atleast a good half hour drive for most of the couples that come to see me. (Yet to break into the Eastern suburbs market clearly). So when Suthan called me last year asking if he could come to see me on a Monday at short notice, I told him I lived at Coogee and that it might take him a bit of time. His response was, “Bondi mate”. When we met, our conversation was mostly about life in the glorious eastern beaches, what our passions outside of our work were and then about what Barkave was all about.
Because Barkave is a phenomenon. No doubt about that. Usually brides come to see me about their wedding, but here was this uber cool person who wore her self confidence like she wore her smile – dazzling! From the time we met at their pre-wedding shoot till a post wedding dinner that we hosted at ours, we connected on many different things. It’s couples like these that vindicate my choice to leave the corporate world and take up wedding photography worthwhile.
Each aspect of their wedding, from having their pre-wedding shoot at the Grounds of the city (don’t think that’s been used at a shoot before), to their thoughtfully curated reception at Wollombi Barnstay, these two’s story spoke through their celebrations and I feel so privileged at being chosen to capture it.
Enjoy the magic below!
