Kish and I met whilst camping with a large group of friends 3 years ago at the Upper Colo river (back in the day when camping was allowed, and you weren’t being a hero sitting at home).
3 years later, he rang me and spoke about his experience at burning man in depth and then casually asked if I would consider documenting his wedding later in the year. Hell yes was my response and below are the results.

Hindu Ceremony

Kish’s morning kicked off with the traditional “milk” bath. Luckily for him, it was a warm day..

Dragonfire as always for the final touches

Gather and Stitch’s work on Sandhiya’s hair and makeup was stunning. She looked like a classic South Indian bride.

Post the ceremony, we headed to Bi-centennial Park for their portrait session along with their bridal party where Kish and the ladies proceeded to cool off by busting some rad dance moves under the sweltering sun

Civil Ceremony

The reception that followed was what I call “The Roast of Kish”. Each and every speech made by mates and family flamed grilled Kish to the hilt.

Reception

I’d love to put in a word here for the outstanding service from the staff at Jaspers. They’re pricey, they are exclusive as a venue, but honestly, you get what you pay for. And for that steep price, you do get some fantastic bloody service! Each and every guest’s drink choice was memorised by their staff and their glasses refilled on auto pilot. And what more, we as vendors got treated in the same manner as the guests – our food was delicious and we always got asked whether we were alright for a drink. Props to these guys from us.
