Vasudha and Karthik personified romance in 2017. They personified love, humour, compassion and companionship better than most in 2017. It was a wedding to remember for our entire team and perhaps even ranks as our favourite of 2017.
Vasu had come to me earlier last year with a vision for her highlights video. She wanted to lip dub a dance number, and have the tempo of the video to be upbeat. With Kala Chasma still topping the charts in 2017, what better song could we have chosen to lip dub!
It was organised chaos – we had everyone from their uncles, little nephews, mates, hell even the Gather and Stitch girls participate and create some cool content. We did try our luck with the priests as well only to be shot down right away.
My favourite part about capturing a South Indian wedding is the food. I relish it more than anything and treated myself to an absolute feast at Vasus’s. Idli, bisibille bath, tamarind rice, potato curry, it was all there. Her mum (like all Indian mums) was beaming each time I reached out for a serving (4 in total).
Enough about the food, go watch the video below and enjoy!
