Indian Wedding Photographer Videographer Le Montage Curzon Hall
The groom booked us!
Rajeev and Divashni’s 5 day wedding extravaganza was unique in many ways. To begin with, amongst the two of them, it was Rajeev who initiated contact with me which was unusual as most of the times it’s brides who look after the photography/cinematography.
I went over to Rajeev’s place to meet his warm, welcoming family where I met Divashni as well and we went through the details of their wedding. We discussed drones, photo backgrounds for the reception, the details of their 6 pre-wedding functions and at the end of that discussion I knew that my team and I were lining up to shoot our biggest wedding yet.
The pre-wedding functions were full of zest, colour, haldi and music as we went through the traditional Fiji Indian wedding traditions. On the wedding day, Rajeev had his mind set on arriving by boat and then jumping into a McLaren to dance along with his baraat! The decorators from Shagun setup a beautiful mandap with warm hues that gave us some beautiful tender moments to capture. For their reception at Curzon Hall we setup a photo background on the red carpet where their guests had their photos captured.
My team I were moved by the hospitality and warmth that both their families and friends showered upon us. From asking us every hour if we had eaten or had something to drink to having a chat and humouring us occasionally, they embodied the famous hospitality that the Fijians are known for.
Our work below is a humble dedication to Diva and Rajeev and their families.
